Director of Programming
Director of Programming is responsible for the quality of our academic program and for monitoring the outcomes we achieve with our K-8 students in out-of-school time settings.
Youth Program:
- Ensure Heads Up academic programs are aligned with DCPS standards
- Manage a staff of two regional Site Directors, five part-time Teacher Liaisons, and ten part-time Site Coordinators
- Create and maintain staff training in best practices to ensure high quality programs and student achievement.
- Monitor overall program success and make recommendations for changes to programming if needed
- Implement quality control measures that guarantee grant compliance (21st CCLC, CYITC, SES, etc.)
- Prepare grant reports for major funding sources
- Oversight of youth program budget
- Re-organize current program management/staffing model if necessary (as budget allows)
- Oversee the recruitment, hiring and evaluation of program staff members
- Attend community-based and stakeholder meetings related to out-of-school-time programming in DCPS
Management Team:
Director of Programming will be an active participant in the management of Heads Up by participating in weekly management team meetings and taking active responsibility for the following:

• Ensure that photographic identification has been obtained from borrower at intake or upon first counseling session prior to opening a case file.
• Obtain a signed authorization form from the borrower and assist the borrower in preparing and assembling the information and documentation required by the servicer for evaluation of workout options.
• Submit completed Workout Request Packages to servicer using electronic mode, followed by hard copies of documents specified by servicer as required.
• Conduct follow up communications with servicer and borrower as needed to ensure receipt of package by servicer, address deficiencies in package, inquire about status of case and escalate as needed per escalation protocol.
• Assist borrower in understanding and implementing workout options including discussion of terms of modification offer (and/or other options presented by the servicer); assist borrower with follow-up actions required of the borrower to obtain workout option; and, if appropriate, refer the borrower to local service providers for additional assistance.

Caseworker

Minimum qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in administration, public health or related fields. Masters degree preferred.

About the Program Directer - As the Program Director you would be responsible for coordinating the Wisconsin Energy Service Corps program. That includes:
- Overseeing and managing a team of 4 campus organizers - AmeriCorps full time members - who will be organizing Energy Service Corps on campuses around Wisconsin.
- Working with these campus organizers to ensure they are meeting goals around student recruitment and involvement as well as programmatic goals such as number of educational presentations and weatherization upgrades for homes.
- Growing the program by increasing visibility and name recognition for the Energy Service Corps by building lasting relationships with community partners, campus partners and the media.
