Workshop: "How You Can Do an Efficiency Audit on your Non-profit"

$175.00
EA-104

MCS, a leader in service to non-profits in Boston for over two decades, is pleased to announce the development of several efficiency programs designed to help your organization survive the lean times ahead in as healthy a way as possible, and position your small non-profit for early recover when the economy turns around.

MCS will have 1/2 day trainings on how your organization can increase its efficiency and do "belt tightening" in as thoughtful and careful a way as possible.  On March 3, 2009 from 1:30am to 4:30pm we will have a half day seminar in which we feature the best thoughts on working with less from all of our consultant practice leaders, led by two of our consultants who are focusing on this project.  We will offer new high value ideas on how your non-profit can maintain its effectiveness and help you plan for anticipated revenue shortfalls, and position itself for the coming recovery.  This is the process MCS is using for its own efficiency analysis, and offering to conduct for other agencies in our “Efficiency Audit”.

It is an analysis that covers program sustainability, environmental impact and efficiency, financial opportunities and revenue opportunities.  We designed this workshop to show you how your agency can operate more efficiently in both the short and long terms, when you don’t have the time to develop a costly strategic analysis.

This audit process will help you develop contingency plans based on your forecast of how you will be impacted by future economic conditions.  This Audit is a high level (“strategic”) overview of your programming, operations, physical environment and financial position.  It is also combined with a “nuts and bolts” process for decreasing costs, increasing efficiencies and revenue.  This Audit will help you determine the most effective changes that you need to make after assuming several revenue projections.

As an added service to the non-profit community, we are offering a no-charge scholarship for this program to any non-profit Board Director or Chair who wishes to attend.
